During 2015 more music was consumed in all sorts of ways, from streaming video and audio to good old-fashioned vinyl.  There was just one problem – money earned from sales and streaming actually fell. And the industry knows who it blames – YouTube.

1) How does this YouTube effect impact, in a positive or negative way, other businesses?

2) When the band Radio Head released its music with a price of zero for the mp3 download they ended up making more money than they ever have before.  This has been used to “prove” that giving music away is actually good for the artist.  What are your thoughts on this?
