On March 15th, 1985, the first .com to computer manufacturer Symbolics Inc. The picture above shows the ports on the back of a Symbolics 3600 that allowed it to be connected to the Internet.

As you look through the photos here, consider that it was just 20 years ago (1995) that Amazon came on the scene, and November 11th, 1998 when Google’s search engine was almost up and running to provide web searches.
